How the Career Development Center helps you

Career support and guidance

The ESMT Careers team focuses on guiding Master students through their internship module and postgraduate career goals. With a personalized and rigorous approach, ESMT helps you build your brand and connects you with top companies and recruiters through a range of workshops, fairs, events, and 1-on-1 meetings throughout the year.

Some examples are workshops on networking, strengths-based career development, and personal branding. ESMT Career Development Center also excels in polishing student’s interview skills. With the assistance of internal and external trainers, alumni, speakers, and online tools, we provide you with the tools to get your dream job.

ESMT Career Fair

During the annual Career Fair at ESMT Berlin, students have the opportunity to interact with recruiters, learn about attractive career opportunities in corporates, SMEs and startups and have individual meetings with potential employers.

The next Career Fair will take place on 1 & 2 February 2024. The first day will be online and the second on campus. This event is open for all ESMT students and alumni.

Company visits and presentations

During the year, ESMT Master students have several opportunities to interact with companies from a wide number of industries. Many corporate guests participate in class to discuss leading cases with professors, or join dedicated information sessions about their companies.

Students are able to interact and ask questions about the industry or specific company culture. Recent company presentations include: Allianz, EY, Mercedes-Benz Consulting, BCG, Amazon, PUMA, SAP, PwC, Telekom, Zalando, and many more.

Additional networking opportunities

Networking is paramount to landing the position of your choice. ESMT's interdisciplinary environment offers diverse opportunities to meet and get to know alumni, recruiters, industry specialists, and guest speakers in panel discussions, open lectures, and student club activities. For the ambitious networking student, several opportunities to make connections at events and meetups are available off-campus as well.
