Executive MBA scholarships & financing

The tuition and fees for the executive MBA are: € 64,800

The program tuition includes teaching fees, required cases and books, e-learning resources, lunch, snacks, and coffee while on campus, as well as a Smart Certificate. ESMT also covers the registration fee for the Academy of Management conference in the second international module.

 

Paying tuition

Tuition for the Executive MBA is due over three calendar years.

  • One third of the tuition fees is due in October 2024, the first month of the program

  • Another third is due February 2025

  • The final installment in January 2026.



Further expenses

In addition to tuition, students are expected to cover travel to and from modules and accommodation during all modules in Berlin and during Global Network weeks.

Any travel costs needed to complete the Practice Project are also the candidate’s responsibility.

We find students require about €13,000 on average for travel and accommodation fees during the EMBA. Your final total could be slightly higher or lower depending on how far you must travel.



Tax deductions

Many countries allow tuition for higher education, and related costs, to count as tax deductible expenses. You can learn more about the requirements in Germany, for example, here. Please check with your tax advisor to assess your personal situation.

Possible deductions might include:

  • Tuition fees

  • Travel required by the program

  • Temporary housing expenses

  • Cost of prep courses - English, special courses, etc.
